We focus on the details to ensure that each project is masterfully executed

We carefully select structural timbers from salvaged longleaf pine to be re-milled and re-engineered to beautiful, naturally finished beams. Our wood beams have the look and feel of solid structural beams as well as the advantages of an engineered piece: multi-functional, durable, lightweight, and easy to install. The Olde Mill focuses on the highest quality craftsmanship of a variety of stock and custom architectural products chosen by home builders, commercial contractors, and homeowners. Our team of designers and craftsmen welcome the opportunity to collaborate with architects and construction industry professionals on a variety of projects.

Our Materials

Reclaimed Longleaf Pine

Reclaimed Longleaf Pine is the starting point for our reclaimed engineered beams, mantels, shelves, and wood products. We recycle and reengineer 100 year old wood reclaimed from all over the country, which gives you the rustic look of old wood and protects the current growths of Longleaf Pine. We cut premium hardwood out of one reclaimed post, and laminate the hardwood onto engineered wood to create a beam that has the lightweight functionality and durability of an engineered product, without the risk of warping or twisting, while retaining the look of a solid antique pine piece.

Our Product

The Exquisite Details

Here we’re hell-bent on hand crafted and committed to every detail. We believe for things to be done right, they need to be done with passion and pride. We value the importance of history, so we manufacture our products to last as long as your home does. Everything is built by hand and made for life, right here in the U.S.A. The Olde Mill reclaimed engineered beams are a versatile choice in any application that does not call for a structural placement of solid wood or in any application where there is a need to conceal conventional framing. We start our process by acquiring salvaged solid Antique Longleaf Pine Beams. We carefully mill the beams into ultra-thin sheets of premium hardwood, each just 1/4 inch thick. These sheets are then painstakingly laminated to a sturdy plywood substrate, creating a luxurious and durable finish that showcases the natural beauty of the wood in all its raw, untouched glory. Next, we straighten & shape them into a miter profile. Then we hand clamp the beams together with quality weatherproof wood glue. Lastly we reshape & texture the beams by hand.
