PAYMENT POLICY

• All orders will be processed when full payment is received.  Shipping cost will be determined after order is received and shipping costs are determined based on delivery address and the size of the materials ordered.  The buyer will then be notified via email of the total cost of the order.  Upon the buyer’s approval of the total cost, the order will be processed within one business day after full payment is received.

• Payment Options

• Debit / Credit Card – a 2.9% + $0.30/transaction, credit card processing fee will be added.

• ACH – payments usually take 3 to 4 business days to receive. – 0.01% +$0.25

 

 SHIPPING POLICY

• All delivery dates are estimates based on availability of the product at the time of purchase.  We cannot guarantee specific deadlines

• Freight companies will lock in a shipping quote for only 10 days so the product will ship out 5 to 10 days after full payment is received.

• Upon shipment, you will receive an email containing the tracking information along with the name of the carrier handling your shipment.  For any orders not shipped via UPS, the freight carrier will contact you to make a delivery appointment

• Orders with a total weight of less than 150 lbs. are shipped UPS ground or U.S.P.S.  Any order with a total weight of 150 lbs. or greater will be shipped via a freight carrier other than UPS

• All of our freight shipments require you to be present at the time of delivery – Your signature is required.  Freight shipments cannot be delivered unless a responsible adult is present at the shipping address during the scheduled delivery time frame given by the shipping company

• Residential Deliveries

• Freight shipments will be unloaded curbside. It is your responsibility to arrange the movement of the materials from the truck.  Delivery drivers are not required to unload the materials from the truck.

• The flooring bundles are approximately 40 ft2 weighing approximately 80 lbs. each

• Business Deliveries

• Business deliveries are a dock delivery requiring personnel to unload the truck with a dock or forklift.

• Claims for shortages or damages to the material must be made upon receipt of the product and duly noted in the shipping paperwork prior to the delivery driver’s departure.  Buyer is responsible for final inspection

• Do not install defective or incorrect products. Use constitutes acceptance.

 

REFUND/RETURN POLICY

• Once your order is returned in its original unopened package, bundle, carton, or container within 14 days of receipt, you will receive a full refund of your purchase price minus the actual shipping costs of the original shipment, any return shipping charges, and a 25% restocking fee.

• All returned items are inspected upon receipt.  If the package, bundle, carton, or container has been opened or the flooring shows signs of soil, damage, or wear due to the buyer’s actions, refunds will be denied.  Returns are not permitted on custom orders, clearance items, discounted items, special offerings, or items delivered over 14 days

• You can expect to receive your refund within two to four weeks after shipping your products back to us. One of the members of our staff will be in touch with you either by phone or email with the details of your return

• Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment as that used to make the original purchase.

• The buyer will not incur return shipping charges and restock fees under the following conditions:

• Defective merchandise received

• Merchandise damaged in transit

• Incorrect shipment received due to our error

• We cannot authorize a return/exchange/refund on less than 5 packages, bundles, carton, or container of flooring.  The product must be in its original condition, packaging, and have been properly stored.  Repackaging product will not be accepted.  Installed product is considered as being accepted by the buyer and may not be exchanged or returned for any reason.  Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable.  Any additional shipping costs relating to a return or exchange are the sole responsibility of the buyer

• If you decide to return the product for any reason, simply email us at info@theoldemill.com or call us at 225-291-8588.  You will be greeted by a friendly and helpful specialist who will assist you in proceeding with the return.

• All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA#).  Customers must contact us to obtain a RA# within 14 days of receiving the order.  14 days after the date of delivery, the order is considered closed and a return cannot be authorized.

•Once you receive your RA#, it is very important to clearly reference your RA# on the outside of the package, bundle, carton, or container.  This number is used internally to track your return to ensure your credit is properly issued.
