Structural & Conventional Framing:
The Olde Mill, LLC wood box beams ARE NOT STRUCTURAL and are meant to be used in conjunction with conventional framing.
Order & Payment:
Shopping at The Olde Mill, LLC is simple. Order by calling us at 225-291-8588 to talk with a customer representative. You may also order online with a 100% secure transaction.
Sales tax is applied only to Louisiana residents in accordance with the Louisiana Department of Taxation’s guidelines.
Upon checkout, we require your billing, shipping and in many cases, your credit card information to complete the online transaction. We make every attempt to keep this information secure. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Checks.
Prices:
Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to website errors.
Lead Times:
Normal lead times are 3-6 weeks or longer depending on products ordered; please let us know if you have special needs. Close to completion of your order you will be contacted to arrange shipment/delivery.
Color Variance, Texture, Finish, Cracks, & Visible Knots:
There could be color variances in products, particularly if ordered at different times. Color variances are not a valid reason for returns.
Longleaf Pine wood is a rustic wood with a rough finish, visible knots, and cracks.
Natural characteristics in the grain, texture and coloring of wood. Wood is a product of nature and will have certain natural characteristics and variances that are not covered under the warranty.
The color of the wood and finish may change during the lifetime of the product especially with certain wood species and with exposure to direct or indirect sunlight and other factors. The color change (mellowing) occurs in both the finish and the wood and is part of the natural ageing process and is not to be considered defect or damage.
Custom Orders:
We are pleased to offer The Olde Mill Products that are custom-manufactured to your specifications, and we encourage you to review your order carefully. Since the product is built to your specifications, the order cannot be changed, modified, or cancelled once it is in production.
Application of Products:
Our beams are not yet designed for outdoor settings and should not be left directly in the elements or in direct moisture (whether it be indoors our outdoors) . Any beams, doors, posts, or products manufactured by The Olde Mill, LLC that are left in direct moisture (ex. snow, rain, or any other moisture) will not be returnable and are not warranted with any direct damage due to moisture exposure.
Damaged Shipments:
If your shipment arrives damaged, you must reject the shipment, or the part that is damaged, and have the driver note the damage on the delivery receipt. Then contact us at 225-291-8588 and we will reissue replacements immediately.
Note the damage on the delivery receipt in the presence of the driver. Be as specific as possible as this will assist us in processing your damage claim with the delivering carrier. We will contact the shipping company to verify that the damaged product is being returned to us. Please allow 3-4 business days for verification. Once we have verified shipment of the return item, we will either send a replacement product (if it is a stocked item) or begin to manufacture your custom product.
Return Policy:
At The Olde Mill, LLC, we offer products of the highest handcrafted quality to our customers. They are manufactured using long-lasting materials and we carefully inspect each order before shipping. Any return request must be made within 30 days from the day of receipt for an exchange or credit.
Note:
- You cannot return any products that have been cut or altered in any way.
- All clearance items are final and cannot be returned.
- Only our “In Stock” items are returnable. All other item are custom made to order and are non-returnable.
- Color variances are NOT a valid reason for returns. Due to differences in texture, colors may vary between styles of products.
- If you are returning merchandise because it was damaged in shipment, please read the If Your Shipment Is Damaged section above.
On-Site Alterations:
The Olde Mill, LLC is not responsible for take-off measurements and/or cuts or any alterations made to the product on the job site.
Limitation of Liability:
It is understood and agreed that any liability of The Olde Mill, LLC, whether in contract, in tort, under any warranty, in negligence or otherwise, shall not exceed the return of the amount of the purchase paid by Buyer and under no circumstances shall The Olde Mill, LLC be liable for special, direct, indirect or consequential damages. Buyer acknowledges and agrees that the price quoted for The Olde Mill’s Products is consideration in the limitation of The Olde Mill’s liability. No action arising from the purchase of The Olde Mill’s Products may be brought by Buyer more than one year after the shipment date of such Products.
