Structural & Conventional Framing:

The Olde Mill, LLC hollow beams are NOT structural and are meant to be used in conjunction with conventional framing. Damages due to improper installation are not covered.

On-Site Alterations:

The Olde Mill, LLC is not responsible for take-off measurements and/or cuts or any alterations made to the product on the job site.

Color Variance, Texture, Cracks and Knot Structure

Color variances, texture, cracks, bolt holes and knot structure are not considered defects and are not valid reasons for returns. We use Reclaimed Long Leaf Pine on our products. This wood is a tight grained rustic wood that has already withstood the test of time and may have visible knots, nail holes, bolt holes, cracks and texture differences. The color of the wood may vary from product to product due to the natural aging process and depending on its original application over a century ago. The color of the wood may change during its lifetime with exposure to direct or indirect light and other factors. White Oak similarly will have cracks and knots, these are natural occurrences and not valid for a refund.

Application of Products:

The Olde Mill, LLC hollow beams are not yet designed for outdoor settings and should not be left directly in the elements or installed in areas that leave them exposed to direct moisture. Any beams, posts, mantels, shelves or other products manufactured by The Olde Mill, LLC that are left exposed to moisture will not be returnable and are not warranted from damage caused by exposure. Our products can be used in exterior settings such as outdoor kitchens when placed under cover and protected from direct sunlight and rain.
