We start with only the best reclaimed, #1 grade longleaf pine. Our process allows us to preserve the natural color and grain density that cannot be found in new growth lumber. In fact, most of the beams we acquire are 100 years old or better. Wood grain, bolt holes, nail holes, cracks, and the natural separation that occurs over time in the original solid beams are just some of the characteristics that really bring our pieces to life.

Where it all starts – beam delivery.
Here is our most recent shipment of beams. We seek out the best reclaimed, longleaf pine beams from all over the country. Notice the nail holes and bolt holes. As you can probably guess, a lot of work goes into preparing these beams for the mill, but we feel our process is well worth the effort. We are passionate about what we do and take great pride in bringing something of value to our customers.

We offer a variety of reclaimed wood products, including floating shelves, floating beam mantels, ceiling beams, door headers, posts, and more. We work hard to preserve each detail of the reclaimed antique beams we start out with, right down to our live grain end caps. This is just another characteristic that gives our pieces the look and feel of solid wood.

Lightweight and easy to install.
Something else you can expect from our pieces is easy installation. We are big fans of DIY and have designed our pieces with this in mind. Because our beams are hollow and only weigh 1/5 of what a solid beam the same size might weigh, they can easily be installed with the help of a friend or two. In addition, an install kit for our floating mantels can be purchased on our website.
